The details:

Why participate?

The Western Slope is fortunate to have an abundance of public lands, including Colorado’s 3 National Conservation Areas. With these beautiful trails and landscapes comes the great responsibility to be good stewards of our public lands. We could use your help to keep our trails pristine for everyone to enjoy!

When:

That’s up to you! You will be assigned a trail at the beginning of each month. You can choose whatever time works best for you to conduct the clean-up within that month. There is no designated event.

Where:

Various trails in McInnis Canyons, Dominguez-Escalante (MCNCA &DENCA are currently full, but check back in the future, or explore a new NCA in the meantime!), or Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area.

What you need:

Gloves, a trash bag, and personal items for hiking. If needed, we can provide you with gloves, trash bags, and a trash picker.

How Do I sign-Up and get started?
