Finding and Describing the Western Slope's Oldest Dinosaur
CCA's Education Director, Rob Gay, will talk about the significance of the oldest dinosaur ever found on the western slope!
Join CCA's Education Director and paleontologist, Rob Gay, for a free public lecture in collaboration with the Museums of Western Colorado. Rob will be presenting on a recent publication, describing the oldest dinosaur known from the western slope (just outside of Moab, Utah). Rob has extensive experience speaking about the paleontology of western Colorado and eastern Utah and will explain why this little dinosaur butt fossil has such a huge importance for our understanding of the prehistory of our area.
