Sick of being stuck inside on Black Friday? Get outside with Colorado Canyons Association and the Bureau of Land Management for a self-guided hike in Dominguez-Escalate National Conservation Area! Join us for our annual #OptOutside event on Friday, November 24th.

Where: Dominguez-Escalante National Conservation Area
What: Get outside this Black Friday and be stewards of the land! Started by REI, CCA is encouraging folks to get outside and enjoy their public lands this Black Friday. This self-guided hike is approx. 2.4 miles to the scenic lookout point of the cliffs above the Gunnison River in Dominguez-Escalante NCA (~5 miles round trip).
What to bring: Sturdy hiking boots/shoes, layers for winter hiking, sunscreen, water, leftover turkey and whatever else you need for an afternoon outside.
Please note: In the event of inclement weather or poor road conditions, use your discretion and best judgement.
