We need your help to keep our waterways clean! Join CCA and the BLM on August 15th for our annual Gunnison River clean-up.
We will be adhering to current CDC and Delta County guidelines throughout this event to keep participants safe and healthy. Some details may be subject to change.
What you need to know:
When: August 15th; expect a full day on the water.
Where: We will meet at the boat launch in Delta at Confluence Park. We will take out at the Escalante boat ramp.
What: Community volunteers and staff will travel approximately 13.5 miles on the Gunnison River in their personal watercraft, removing trash and debris from the river corridor. This event is hosted by the Bureau of Land Management's Uncompahgre Field Office, in collaboration with Colorado Canyons Association.
Please note: Participants must have their own watercraft, food, and personal gear in order to adhere to social distancing measures. Participants must also provide their own shuttle.
