The Details

What: A day of trail work in Gunnison Gorge’s popular multi-use Sidewinder trail. This trail is due for some of its much needed care and maintenance. We could use as many hands as possible to keep it beautiful for the next few seasons to come. This project will be led by our partners at the Bureau of Land Management. Come out and celebrate Earth Day with us!

When: Saturday, April 22nd from 9 AM - 2 PM

Where: Gunnison Gorge NCA; meet at Smith Mountain Sidewinder trailhead

What to bring: Work gloves (if you have them), layers for different weather conditions, a lunch, and water (we will have a cooler to refill your bottles). Tools and eye protection will be provided.
