What: Whit Blair, Wildlife Biologist in Grand Junction with USFWS, will discuss a bird listed as threatened under the Endangered Species Act found only in western Colorado. He'll discuss its behavior, habitat, and the local community-based conservation that is working hard to save it.

About the speaker
Whit Blair has been working for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in the Western Colorado Ecological Services Office since 2021. His primary focus is the recovery of the Gunnison Sage-grouse. In his free time he likes running, birding, and hanging out with friends.
