In partnership with Colorado National Monument Association, CCA will be virtually hosting artists from around the country as they capture the landscapes of the western slope through art.

Plein Air Invitational Details

When: October 2nd - December 20th, 2020

The Grand Valley on the western slope of Colorado is home to a plethora of public land, including Colorado National Monument and McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area (NCA). Artists from all over the country convene here every fall to appreciate and capture the stunning landscapes of our public lands. With many locations to pick from, artists have the opportunity to explore the scenery and create breathtaking artwork throughout the week.

Due to COVID-19, the event will look a little different this year, but it will still be every bit as amazing! The 2020 event will be fully online, including a virtual gallery of the artists’ works. Each artist will display 6 stunning pieces of plein air artwork based off of our beautiful, local landscapes. Proceeds will benefit Colorado National Monument Association and Colorado Canyons Association.

The Plein AIr Gallery Goes live on October 2nd!
