Virtual Education
Learn about the landscapes of our NCAs as you visit them Virtually!
For over a decade, Colorado Canyons Association has partnered with the Bureau of Land Management and local school districts to create meaningful and engaging student field trips that serve over 1,500 local students in April and May alone. These field trips are aligned with district needs and meet Colorado state standards. With the Coronavirus pandemic on the horizon in March, CCA staff sprang into action to get ahead of the curve. Since then, CCA staff, volunteers, and BLM partners have been safely creating video lessons to release to the students. We understand the importance of these field trips to both the teachers and the students and did not want them to miss out on valuable connections to our local NCAs due to the pandemic.
