Flume Canyon Wilderness Hike

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the congressional designation of McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area, the BLM and its partners invite you to join on a variety of events to celebrate and learn about the incredible resources in your NCA!

When: Saturday, October 17th from 9 AM - 12 PM

Where: We will meet at the Pollock Bench Trailhead. We will be hiking the Flume Canyon Loop.

What: Within McInnis Canyons NCA lies the 75,000 acre Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness Area. This specially designated land is home to amazing geologic features, spectacular landscapes, and more! Hike with Catherine Robertson, former NCA manager, as she discusses the intrinsic value and importance of designated wilderness on this 3-hour hike.

Please bring: Your own snacks and water, outdoor layers, and sturdy hiking shoes.
