To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the congressional designation of McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area, the BLM and its partners invite you to join on a variety of events to celebrate and learn about the incredible resources in your NCA!
When: Saturday, October 10th from 9 AM - ~3 PM
Where: We will meet at the McDonald Creek Trailhead in Rabbit Valley. A high clearance vehicle is recommended.
What: Native Americans inhabited the landscape of McInnis Canyons for thousands of years and traces of the past can still be found today. Join BLM archaeologist, Breana Esparza, to hike to historic rock art panels, drawn by the Fremont people, and take in the outstanding scenery along the way. Expect to hike ~4-5 miles on this moderate trail.
