March is "Write A Will Month" in Mesa County!

As a member of the Mesa County Fundraiser's Network (MCFN), CCA is proud to participate in Mesa County's 1st annual "Write A Will Month."

During the month of March, MCFN is providing two free "Write A Will" workshops for community members interested in leaving a lasting legacy to their favorite local non-profits.

Write A Will Workshops @ the Mesa County Central Library:

The workshops, designed to help people avoid problems and better assure that their personal values are reflected in their end-of-life plans, will feature presentations by local experts - Attorney Gregg Kampf of Hoskin, Farina & Kampf, and Marsha Harbert of Two Rivers Trust Company.

Kampf and Harbert will address “the basics” of wills and estate planning:

  • Who needs a will?
  • How do I avoid the government getting all of my money?
  • How do I make sure my children, my pets, my favorite possessions and other concerns are taken care of when I die?
  • How difficult, and expensive, is this process?
  • Are there any advantages to giving money to my favorite charity when I pass away?

For more information click on the workshop dates listed above or contact Kate Graham at kate@canyonsassociation.org or 970-263-7902.
