The Season of Giving is here!
The past eight months have demonstrated how much we need public lands for our physical and mental well-being. For Western Colorado, those are the three National Conservation Areas (NCAs) - McInnis Canyons, Dominguez-Escalante, and Gunnison Gorge. When everything else was closed, imagine how much more challenging it would have been if our public lands weren’t open either. This year, more than ever, we need our National Conservation Areas, the NCAs need Colorado Canyons Association, and CCA needs your support!
Impact
With community support in 2020, Colorado Canyons Association:
Educated over 300 kids on rafting trips down the Colorado and Gunnison rivers and over 100 kids on land-based field trips within our NCAs
Swiftly adapted to 2020's challenges to create 15+ educational videos and 2 brand new Jr. Ranger programs for the public to enjoy
Organized 120 volunteers contributing to over 750 hours of youth education, trail stewardship & riparian restoration
Led 29 lectures, hikes, and community events that educated the public on topics ranging from scientific research to Leave No Trace ethics
Your contributions will ensure that these programs continue to thrive and succeed in 2021!
