Dear CCA Community,

We know that this is a time of great uncertainty and concern. Colorado Canyons Association (CCA) is actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation. The safety of our staff, volunteers, members, and event participants is our top priority. Beginning on March 18, many of CCA's employees will work from home. However, CCA will remain open for business, and our staff are available via phone and email. If you have any questions, please call us at 970-263-7902 or email us at info@canyonsassociation.org.

We are working with the Bureau of Land Management, District 51, and other partners to help provide resources to the public. Over the next few days, we will be working to provide online environmental educational content for schools that will participate in remote learning.

If ever there was a need for the benefits of being outside, it is the present time. Many studies have shown that spending time outdoors can do wonders for our health and well-being. Our local National Conservation Areas provide a wealth of family-friendly outdoor recreation activities. Check out our website for recreation opportunities and maps of the McInnis Canyons, Dominguez-Escalante, and Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Areas. We do ask that if you visit, you practice social distancing in addition to Leave No Trace principles.

Stay safe and healthy,
Sarah McCall, Executive Director
