Join CCA's Book Club!
Interested in reading books, diving into discussions on regional topics, and building community with new people? Sounds like CCA’s new book club is right for you! We will be hosting quarterly gatherings throughout the year featuring regional books on a variety of relevant themes.
The Purpose
As we all know, books provide new knowledge, ideas, and perspectives to their readers. Perhaps more importantly, books have a magical way of bringing people together to create authentic community.
The CCA book club hopes to bring awareness to a variety of regional topics and inspire discussion on how it applies to our community and National Conservation Areas. We hope our book club members will find new ways of connecting to our unique landscapes and local community.
How It Works
Our book club meetings will be held on a quarterly basis. Each quarter a different book will be chosen and at the end of that quarter, the book club will meet for refreshments and discussion. A series of discussion topics and questions will be provided before the meeting and those questions will then lead us through conversation about the book.
You do not have to commit to being a part of the book club for the entire year. We will have different sign-ups for each book, so you can chose which quarters you would like to participate in.
*We are gladly accepting book suggestions for the coming year! Use the contact info below to offer your input.
