Colorado Canyons Association relies on the generosity of donors and businesses to support our programs and organization. Chevron has charitably donated $25,000 for our 2020 operations and we couldn’t be more grateful for their invaluable support! With Chevron’s continued investment, CCA will steward our cherished public lands and offer life-changing experiences for thousands of students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

What Chevron has supported in 2020:

Education Programs

Chevron’s support of our education programs has provided funding for our STEAM-based river trips with local youth. In 2020 we have strengthened our curriculum, added new programs, and continued to offer unique opportunities for disadvantaged youth to engage on the landscapes of our NCAs.

River stewardship

Colorado Canyons Association was able to conduct two very successful river stewardship events this summer, thanks to funding from Chevron. Volunteers joined CCA and the Bureau of Land Management to clean up popular spots along the Colorado and Gunnison Rivers, helping keep the riparian corridor healthy and pristine!

Crazy About Canyons Sponsorship

Chevron is the presenting level sponsor of CCA’s 7th Annual Crazy About Canyons event, our largest fundraiser of the year. Their contribution will help us garner even more support to get kids outside!
