CCA Staffing Update
After four and a half years of service to our community and public lands, our Development Director, Killian Rush, recently announced she will be leaving CCA in early September.
Dear CCA Friends & Community,
It is with a healthy mix of sadness and excitement to announce that I am moving on from my position with Colorado Canyons Association. After four and a half memorable and meaningful years with CCA, I have decided to take time to heal from a recent family tragedy, undertake new professional adventures and focus on my full-time graduate coursework.
I started at CCA as an AmeriCorps Summer Associate in 2016, transitioned to two years as an AmeriCorps VISTA, and eventually led CCA’s development team in my final two years. From helping to establish the Catalpa Camp throughout its many phases, revamp CCA’s bookstore, and take phenomenal students down the river as one of CCA’s river guides, I cherish the opportunities I’ve had to connect our community to our local public lands. I am honored to have stewarded our amazing network of donors and I am proud of the accomplishments we have achieved over the years.
I am eternally grateful for the opportunities, growth, and relationships that I have received through my time with this organization. I look forward to continue supporting CCA’s legacy and being a part of our vibrant community network. Please stay in touch, be kind to one another, and continue to care for our amazing National Conservation Areas!
All my best,
Killian
